All the secrets of the Italian kitchen are in Mattia's head

Not ones to rest on their laurels, those Cucina boys from Edinburgh’s Hotel Missoni are following up their recent Scottish Restaurant Award prize for Italian Restaurant of the Year with a new wheeze.

Next Wednesday (23rd March), Head Chef Mattia Camorani and his team will lead guests through a tutorial demonstrating the preparation of risotto bianco. Natch, you can sample the risotto following the demonstration and the sommelier will also be on hand with a glass of something appropriate.

Further demo events are planned for May, July, September and November.

The one hour tutorial begins at 6pm and offers an intimate session to unveil the secrets of authentic Italian cooking.  Tickets for the masterclass cost £25 per person, which includes a glass of Prosecco and canapés on arrival.

To complete the dining experience, guests that book a three course meal from the a la carte menu in Cucina that evening will be offered a complimentary course of risotto and glass of wine as demonstrated at the masterclass.
