Top of their suggestion list was a darling Stella McCartney chunky knit wrap cardigan. A snip at just £940. Further down the list was a scented sleeping candle. Another bargain at £49. For a candle.
Once I’d stopped laughing bitterly and started thinking straight, I powered up PC and found 5pm’s Mother’s Day offers. Sorry Stella.
