Eye-catching decor at the Rutland's restaurant

Sticking with the wine tasting theme, the Rutland Hotel is holding an Australian wine tasting dinner on Thursday.

Tom Portet, tenth generation wine maker and Wine Educator from Treasury Wine Estates, will talk guests through a selection of wines from the Clare and Barossa valleys.

The wines have been matched with a five course menu designed by David Haetzman, chef at the Rutland’s rather tasty restaurant.

Tickets – including all wines, five course dinner and goody bag – cost £40.
