A handful of new places to report.
Bluerapa is a tiny new Thai on Torphichen Place in Edinburgh’s West End. The canteen decor is homely rather than flash but the welcome is warm and the BYOB policy is welcome.
Your blogger was there earlier in the week and had a belter of a meal. Great salads, a phrase which I thought I would never write.
Also noticed that Jacksons on the Royal Mile has gone (when did that happen?) and been replaced by an Indian restaurant called Bonoful.
Apparently, the Peacock Inn in Newhaven is also back in action after a long refurb. Reports have it that the fish and chips remain a thing of beauty.
