The Douglas DC6 at Coventry Airport is challenging perceptions about airline food

Of course, once you start looking for food served in unusual places then there is no end to it.

At Coventry airport, customers can dine in a Douglas DC6 airplane which has been converted into a bar and dining room.

Dishes include a Bomber T-bone steak and a Meteor marinade.

A fillet steak costs £15 and,as you can imagine, the papers have been having a field day with jokes about the prices not being ‘sky high’.
