][1]Stag Espresso is a new cafe which opened earlier this week in Edinburgh’s Dovecot Studios.
Freshly baked, pastries and scones, open sarnies and, of course, mucho local sourcing are the name of the game.
It’s a very white, minimalist space which makes the cake displays look all the more enticing.
If you do drop in the cafe then be sure to take a gander at the Dovecot Tapestry Studios which house Stag. They used to be old public baths and their transformation into an exhibition space and artists’ studios is pretty striking.
They are running an exhibition by the painter Kurt Jackson at the moment.
