][1]I’ve just found Tam Cowan’s review of Amarone Edinburgh from last Saturday’s Record.
Despite one or two minor quibbles, he seems to have been well chuffed and, as well heaping high praise on his steak, he compliments his his dining companions’ ziti al forno and the frito misto, the Italian version of a fish supper banquet.
As it happens, 5pm users have been just as thrilled with the new Amarone. Since opening on St Andrew Square last summer, you have given it a combined score of 4.2/5.
Writing at the end of November, Holly Yehezkely’s comments are farily typical: ‘Good selection on offer for the 5pm menu, service friendly and the size of the pizzas were very generous,’ reckoned Holly. ‘The waitress kindly boxed half to go as it was so big.’
