Tam Cowan: ensuring a forking funny night for all

The Glasgow Restaurant Association (GRA) is set to stage A Final Forkout for Maggie’s, the last in its series of Who Gives A Fork charity events in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres.

Taking place on Thursday 15th March at The Glasgow Art Club on Bath Street, it is going to be a charity auction night with Glasgow’s premier food critic Tam Cowan acting as MC.

Tam will host the auction, which in keeping with both its name and culinary theme, will see guests bid for forks donated by a number of famous names, from film stars Gary Oldman and Clive Owen to musicians such as James Taylor and renowned chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.

Complimentary drinks and a selection of delicious finger foods will be served and there will be a variety of entertainment on the night, including live music.

All funds raised from the auction and raffle as well a proportion of the ticket money will be donated to Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre in Glasgow

The GRA in conjunction with 5PM have so far raised £60,000 for Maggie’s, and with your generosity we hope to increase this total by another £20,000.

Please dig deep and give to a truly worthy cause, while enjoying a fun-filled evening at the same time.

Tickets cost £15 per person or save with two tickets for £25! (+ 30p booking fee per person).

This event is on Thursday 15th March from 7pm – 10pm. You can book tickets here.
