Steak in Edinburgh: brunch worth a try

Regular readers may recall that Edinburgh’s new Steak restaurant ended up forking out two grand a couple of weeks back when a promo bet went the wrong way for the owners.

It worked like this: if Scotland scored the first scoring play, a Scottish try, in the Six Nations match against France at Murrayfield then Steak would refund brunch bills from that weekend.

Scotland duly scored a try early in the match and Steak refunded a lot of happy customers.

Undeterred. Steak are running a very similar offer this weekend. Everyone who eats from the brunch menu at Steak this Saturday from 11am-3pm will be treated to a full refund on their food bill IF the first scoring play is a Scottish try against Ireland this Saturday at The Aviva Stadium, Dublin.

Feel lucky? The match kicks off at 5pm and, of course, you can watch it on the big screen at Steak.
