Stravaigin 2: circling its wagons for next week’s cowboy feast

If you think that The Outlaw Josey Wales was the best film ever made, or that Blazing Saddles was the highpoint in celluloid comedy, then mosey on down to Stravaigin 2 next week for the restaurant’s Wild Wild West End Night.

Next Tuesday from 5pm, the kitchen will be turning into a chuck wagon and knocking out some campfire classics. The cost is £16.95 per person which includes a bottle of Sam Adams.

The menu is

Pineapple and chipotle pork loin, cowboy salsa

~

Missouri BBQ ribs and sauce

~

Chuckwagon stew

~

Dakota fried tomatoes

~

Fry breads

~

Cowboy beans

~

Wild west rice

A popular offshoot from Stravaigin on Gibson Street, the Ruthven Lane outlet is a hit with 5pm users. Over 230 of you have booked through 5pm, ate at the restaurant and then given it a top notch combined rating of 4.2/5.

If cowboy chow isn’t your (saddle) bag but you want to try their globe trotting menu then you might want to check out their 5pm pre-theatre deal:  £12 for two courses or £14 for three.
