According a recent newsflash from the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, dog-friendly dining is now all the rage in La La Land. Word has it that new legislation has just been passed in LA, which allows restaurateurs the option to permit dogs on patios.
The idea is that pooch-loving diners can eat with their favourite canine companion as some of the city’s leading restaurants make a big effort to welcome our furry friends.
Brunch is the big doggy draw, with the most dog-friendly eateries offering a choice between still or sparkling water, plaid doggy beds and over-sized umbrellas. One even offers a ‘Doggy Deck’ to encourage socializing between the mutts.
