Masterchef contestant Ross Boyce will be getting piggy with it at Potterrow

The blog has blethered previously about top brewers Innis & Gunn taking over the bar at 32 Potterrow until the end of the Festival.

As mentioned, they are running a series of beer and food matching sessions; tastings; rare bottling master classes and foodie pop-ups over the next few months. One of the most exciting could be (P)I&G Potterrow which takes place next Wednesday from 7pm.

BBC Masterchef contestant Ross Boyce will be heading up the kitchen in order to showcase two of his favourite things: beer and pork. A recruitment consultant by day, Ross is a food obsessive who spends his holidays doing stages at top kitchens. You can see some of his rather lovely looking dishes here.

Next Wednesday, he will be getting crafty with a variety of pork cuts and cooking methods to match Innis & Gunn’s award-winning range of speciality beers.

The one-off feast will see guests sharing tables at Innis & Gunn’s pop-up summer bar, and promises to be a fun night. A limited number of VIP tickets are available at £50 per person, which includes an aperitif, a bottle of Innis & Gunn to match each of the three courses and a further tipple to round off the evening. Regular tickets are £30 per person for dinner and one bottle of Innis & Gunn.
