Jonny Dunbar, chef at Aberlady’s Ducks, will pitching camp in St Andrews Square, Edinburgh for a demo tomorrow

Taking place at St Andrews Square in Edinburgh city centre, ‘Wish you were there’ is a new initiative from East Lothian Council to encourage people in the capital to venture beyond the city limits and explore some of the attractions on offer nearby.

As part of the event, Jonny Dunbar, head chef at Ducks at Kilspindie House in Aberlady, East Lothian, will be giving live cooking demonstrations tomorrow from 4pm to 6pm.

Using local produce, Jonny will be rustling up dishes like his hot smoked Firth of Forth mackerel fillet with braised baby gem, fresh peas, sea aster and mussel broth.

If you like what you see at St Andrews Square then Ducks is a 5pm restaurant with special 5pm offers. They are currently offering a two course lunch for £18 a head. The afternoon tea menu looks pretty spectacular as well.
