A new menu has set sail at Louisiana’s on the Riverboat Casino

At this stage on a Monday morning, a flutter followed by cooking from America’s Deep South may not be the first things on your mind but you can have both at Louisiana’s on the Riverboat Casino in Glasgow.

The restaurant on the upper level of the casino boat has relaunched with a completely new menu from head chef Jamie Connelly.

New Orleans cooking and Scottish ingredients are the dish of the day. This means starters like the Creole roast chicken with chilli and tomato, baked haggis New Orleans style with a sweet plum sauce and seared scallops served with potato scones, radish tartar and a beetroot remoulade puree.

Steaks, surf ‘n’ turf combos and lobster thermidore also feature should you get lucky on the tables. The restaurant is open until 3am – handy for the large numbers of people who don’t clock off at 5pm.
