][1]Just a quickie plug for Glasgow Beer Week which kicks off tomorrow.
From cheese and beer tastings; to cooking with beer demos via erudite talks on the history of brewing in Scotland, this week-long series of events will appeal to the beer aficionado as much as the casual slurper who enjoys a pint of something decent on a Friday night.
Interestingly, the festival’s closing party will take place at Inn Deep – Glasgow’s latest brew bar which is scheduled to open tomorrow. It’s on the Great Western Road next to Kelvinbridge.
Guests to the new bar are promised ‘cask, keg and bottled beers, cocktails, coffee, good grub, live music and art’, an appealing combo.
