Your 5pm blogger is going to be on the Fred MacAulay Show this morning talking about recipe books.

We’re going to be blethering about who buys recipes books; why they buy them and how many we really need.

The piece was inspired by this Guardian article in which Matthew Fort casts a slightly jaundiced eye over Nigella’s latest cookbook.

Incidentally, here’s one I won’t be buying. Fancy a bite of ‘lightly salted wild trout roe in a warm crust of dried pig’s blood’. Nope? Me neither.

All being well, I’ll be spraffing to Fred at around 10.40 this morning.
