][1]Whisky lovers might want to make a note in their diaries for the St Andrew’s Whisky Tasting Dinner taking place at The Buttery on Thursday 29th November.
Tutored tasting
Dr Kirstie McCallum, the global brand ambassador for Burn Stewart, will be leading diners through a tutored tasting of Deanston 12 year old, Bunnahabhain 18 year old and the Tobermory 10 year old.
The evening will start with a pre-dinner whisky aperitif followed by a three course dinner with wine. The whisky tasting will take place in between main and pudding. Check the menu out here.
The evening is £50 per person.
Glasgow Restaurant Awards
Sticking with The Buttery and its sister restaurant The Shandon Belles, congrats are due to both after they were short listed for this year’s Glasgow Restaurant Awards.
The Buttery is in the last three in the ‘posh nosh’ category with Le Chardon D’Or and The Butchershop Bar and Grill.
The Shandon Belles is in the mix for the ‘casual dining’ award with House for an Art Lover and Soho on Miller Street.
