Giorgio Locatelli: ‘Look into my eyes and smell my truffles’

Christmas has come early for truffle lovers this year as Giorgio Locatelli drops into Edinburgh’s Hotel Missoni next Thursday to cook up a six course white truffle dinner.

Giorgio will be joined by his Italian protégé, Mattia Camorani, head chef at Cucina in Hotel Missoni, to create the decadent dinner.

There will be a meet and greet with guests before the Italian chefs return to the kitchen to knock out dishes like the fresh egg pasta, Parmigiano reggiano risotto and veal fillet – all flavoured with the much sought after tuber. You can see the full menu here.

Tickets are £75 a head or £120 with a matched wine package. The dinner takes place from 7pm on Thursday 15th November.

Lunch deal

Of course, more wallet friendly options are available. Try the Missoni a Mezzogiorno lunch menu: £14.95 per person for 2 courses or £17.95 for 3 courses. It includes a complimentary selection of Italian breads and oils, and petit fours.
