The Dining Room at Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens

Fancy a spot of lunch this weekend? The delightfully elegant restaurant at Glasgow’s One Devonshire Gardens is now open for lunch on Saturdays.

Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens, to use its full name, is offering both an a carte and set menu for Saturday lunch.

Highly skilled kitchen

Executive Head Chef Darin Campbell is an experienced hand in the kitchen with long stints at several starry operations such as Marcus Wareing’s Petrus and Andrew Fairlie’s restaurant at Gleneagles.

The a la carte look superb. Think along the lines of baby squid served with a salted lemon gel, smoked gnocchi and crab foam or the pot-roasted crown of St Brides chicken with spring vegetables and truffle jus.

Set menu

The set menu looks enticing as well with starters such as the ham hock terrine with lentils, pickled veg and farmhouse bread. Main courses include the seabass served with creamed polenta and olive oil or the pork belly with carrot purée and lentils.

5pm offers

You can see the restaurant’s 5pm offers and menus here. With a combined score of 4.5/5, the restaurant at One Dev is one of the highest rated places on 5pm.

If you want to see why, it’s open for lunch on Saturday.

If you really want to make a special occasion of it then you might want to investigate their rather splendid private dining rooms.
