][1]One Square at the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh has just launched its Social Hour programme. Running in One Square every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, between 6pm and 8pm, the event is a sort of cross between after work drinks for locals and a move to get hotel guests chatting to one another.
At the heart of the Social Hour is a specially curated selection of drinks. The hotel offers guests a selection of award-winning Sheraton Wines of the World, including Louis Jadot, France; Marqués de Riscal, Spain; and Allendorf, Germany.
Premium beers
The premium beers on offer include St. Mungo’s from WEST Brewery in Glasgow, as well as Edinburgh-based Innis & Gunn beers.
Gin connoisseurs will also be tempted with a range of Scottish gins including Caorunn, Hendrick’s, The Botanist and Darnley’s View.
Guests can compare two 60ml wine pours or three 1/3 pint beers for £5.00, or two 25ml gin pours and one 200ml tonic water for £10.00 at Sheraton Social Hour in One Square.
Tasting menu
If you enjoy your Social Hour then there is always the option to stay on for a bite to eat from the One Square a la carte menu or even the special Innis and Gunn tasting menu.
