From hard-hitting plays to gag-cracking clowns, the entire city has become a fairly anarchic stage.
Hoping to claim a little piece of the spotlight is the Turquoise Thistle bar and restaurant in Edinburgh’s Hotel Indigo.
The York Place venue is holding a Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea Party from 2pm on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of August.
Visitors are promised that this is a tea party where nothing is as it seems. Guests are invited to join the long table and enjoy a welcome cocktail, afternoon tea with tea or coffee for £20 per person. Reservations are required.
If you like the Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea then you may well love the set menu. The Turquoise Thistle is currently offering two courses for £16.95 or three courses for £19.95. Both options include a glass of Prosecco. You can browse a sample set menu here.
