In August, most of the nation’s clowns, comics and jokers migrate to Edinburgh. However, as the Fringe draws to a close on Monday 26th of August, they fly off once more, looking for new territories in which to spray the chuckle dust.

One comic has wasted no time by signing up for an event at Glasgow’s Koolba Indian restaurant on Tuesday 27th of August.

Scottish & Indian fusion

Hardeep Singh Kohli will be swinging by the Merchant City restaurant for a night of Scottish and Indian fusion food.

Guests will be dining from a five course menu prepared by Hardeep and the award-winning Koolba kitchen squad.

Dishes include Balmoral chicken pakora, curried cock-a-leekie soup and spiced stovies.

Diners can also expect a side order of wit courtesy of Hardeep’s often sharp sense of humour.

Tickets cost £30 per head.

Piping Live!

If you enjoy your meal with Hardeep then you will probably love Koolba’s other offerings. As part of the Piping Live! celebrations they are running a Dinearound menu this week at £15.95 for three courses.
