][1]Just a quick plug for Bar Soba on Edinburgh’s Hanover Street. As the 5pm Dining blog has breathlessly posted a couple of times already, the pan-Asian restaurant and bar has got Jerry Dammers, formerly of The Specials, doing a DJ set tonight. Happily for those of us looking at post-Festival penny shortages, entry is free. I’ll be the one shuffling along to the music in a hot new dance style best described as rubbish. I don’t anticipate any twerking but the cocktails at Bar Soba are pretty damn fine so you never know…
