Here in Scotland we are lucky to live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. With remote islands, sandy beaches and dramatic mountain landscapes, we almost have it all (just don’t mention the weather).

Culcreuch Castle

Described on Trip Advisor as a “wonderful location overlooking Loch Lomond ” Rowardennan Lodges are set in the dramatic backdrop of Ben Lomond. The only road in the area finishes just behind the site so the only traffic you’ll see are walkers completing the West Highland Way.

£280 for a three night weekend or four night midweek break at Rowardennan luxury self catering lodges. Sleeps up to 4 people.

Stonefield Castle

Near to the pretty fishing village of Tarbert, Stonefield Castle stands high on the famous Kintyre peninsula and has spectacular views over Loch Fyne and the gardens.One guest said “The building itself is stunning. Its situation on the banks of Loch Fyne are simply breathtaking.”
