][4]Mintleaf – serving authentic Thai and Indian dishes, Mintleaf can be found in Edinburgh’s increasingly stylish Leith. Try the Thai-style roast duck stir-fried in a spicy sweet sauce flavoured with honey and mustard or the Indian lamb cooked in an exotic calamansi sauce with lemon leaves and Bengali chillies.

][6]The Partners Italian Bistro – housed in a converted train station in Glasgow’s Hyndland, The Partners Italian Bistro serves Italian dishes in elegant surroundings. Worth noting is the restaurant’s child friendliness (a kids’ menu is available) as well as the lovely outdoor seating area (maybe keep this one in mind for later in the year)
