Edinburgh’s Southsider pub is back in action after a £120k facelift. The space has been opened up; new booths have been added and the interiors have been freshened. The well established Maclay Inn on West Richmond Street also features a brand new food menu.

Vintage lamps

The décor has been revamped to give it a stylish new feel while retaining its original warmth and charm. Damask wallpaper compliments original mahogany panelling around the bar while stags heads, tartan-style upholstery and vintage style lamps add a traditional touch that fits perfectly with its laidback feel.

Sharing platters & sport

The new menu is very much in keeping with the present taste for street food. Pizza, burgers and hot dogs jostle for attention with sharing platters of nachos and buckets of finger food to be eaten while groaning at the sport on the plasma screens.
