Craig Hart is the new Executive Chef at The Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh.

There is a new face in the kitchens at The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh. Craig Hart has been announced as the new Executive Chef. He takes over from Malcolm Webster who is now the Executive Chef at the Sheraton Dubai Tower Sheikh Zayed Road.

In some ways, it’s a return home for Craig who had previously worked at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa as a Chef de Partie. Since then, his career has seen him take roles at the Golf Hotel in St Andrews, as well as the renowned Champany Inn near Linlithgow. His most recent employer was Gleneagles where Craig had worked in the fine dining Strathearn Restaurant as well as the vibrant Mediterranean-inspired Deseo restaurant.

Modern British cooking

In his new role at the Sheraton Grand, Craig will take culinary charge of the hotel’s One Square restaurant. Since opening in March 2012, One Square has developed an excellent reputation for modern British cuisine in some rather funky surroundings.

Craig will continue to build on the restaurant’s unique offerings, including Dining at the Pass, a bespoke culinary experience for up to four people which takes place in the high-octane heart of the One Square kitchen.

One Square is a 5pm Dining member and you can see their latest offers from here. We liked the sound of their 2 for 22 menu: £22 per person for two courses from the 2 for 22 menu. The offer includes a 125ml glass of red or white house wine with each course.
