There is lots of excitement about the imminent launch of Ox and Finch on Sauchiehall Street.

Run by Jonathan MacDonald, who also has the street food brand Scoop, the new restaurant is scheduled to open later this month.

The talent in the kitchen includes Daniel Spurr, former Sous Chef at Martin Wisharts at Loch Lomond, and Mario Podola who has worked at the Gallery Mess at the Saatchi Gallery.

They have just posted their proposed menu on their Facebook page.

Lamb meatballs with baba ganoush and toasted hazelnut dukkah do it for us.
