Since launching in March this year, The Indian Platform restaurant on Great Western Road has attracted lots of glowing reviews from 5pm Dining customers. Owners Nasreen Aksi and Chetan Parmar hope to replicate that success after launching The Indian Platform 2 (Southside) on Ayr Road last night. The 130 cover restaurant was formerly the Ivy India Restaurant. The menu at the new venture includes an extensive tandoori selection, including such dishes as: murgh tikka; tandoori jhinga and tandoori machi. House specialities include: murgh palakdaar; roshan lal; ginger chicken and saag; keema mutter; karahi king prawns; lamb rogan josh; biryani; machi masala and south Indian chilli garlic chicken.
