Pinto will start feeding Edinbiurgh with burritos today.

Pinto, the fast casual Mexican restaurant group which launched in Glasgow, opens their first branch outside the city today.

Edinburgh’s Lothian Road will play host to the latest outlet.

To mark the occasion, they will be giving away a thousand burritos to customers when they open at noon today. All diners have to do to get their hands on a burrito is to buy a drink.

The Lothian Road Pinto will be the group’s fourth opening after the branches at Gordon, Queen and Hope Street in Glasgow.

The menu features ‘bulging burritos, tasty tacos and delicious nachos’. You can see the full line-up here.

Cheekily, they have billed the new opening as ‘the biggest event in Scottish history this month’.
