Burns and Beckham's Haig Club whisky: a potent combo.
Burns and Beckham’s Haig Club whisky: a potent combo.

Robert Burns was not a man who fought shy of the odd nip so we expect that he would approve of this imminent Haig Club Whisky Burns Supper at The Scotsman Hotel.

Taking place on Saturday 24th January from 6.30pm, this celebration of Burns’ life and poetry includes a four course dinner and, of course, a piper to address the haggis.

Single grain Scotch

Haig Club Whisky plays an important role in the evening. A single grain Scotch, made at Cameronbridge distillery, it uses whiskies from three different cask types. Butterscotch and toffee are said to be prominent flavours.

Others may be familiar with Haig Club on the grounds that David Beckham is the face of the brand.

Regrettably, Dave can’t make the meal but there will be plenty of Haig Club.

At the Burns Supper at The Scotsman, guest will be greeted with a Haig Club cocktail on arrival together and a Haig Club cocktail with each of the following four courses.

Tickets are £59 per person and can be bought here.
