Peter’s Seafood & Grill in East Kilbride has been a popular local restaurant for many years, winning consistently great praise from 5pm diners (“Another fabulous experience at Peter’s” – Patricia; “all of us were delighted with every aspect of Peter’s” – Sandra).

Peter’s has launched a delicious new Summer menu and we’ve picked some of our top choices – read on for 4 dishes not to be missed.

1. Sweet chilli prawn & Spinach fritter

Staying true to their seafood roots the new Summer starter, sweet chilli prawn and spinach fritter, is a top choice. With a light, crispy batter the starter is served with a sesame and soya dipping sauce. Spinach is in season and this starter gives it nice Asian twist.

2. Haggis Bon Bons

Peter’s had to keep their most popular starter of haggis bon bons on the menu but have given it a seasonal twist with a Summer salad and pepper cream sauce.

3. Pan fried fillet of sea bass

Sea bass is a signature dish at Peter’s and it’s been given an Asian flavour in our first pick of the mains from the new menu.

The fillet of sea bass is pan-fried and placed on top of Asian vegetables, noodles and the chef’s own delicious Asian sauce.

4. Salad or salmon?

For the last must try dish we couldn’t pick between the roast fillet of salmon with crushed new potatoes and seasonal vegetables or the baked Brie and apple salad with garlic toast.

Both are fitting of the season; the apple and Brie are a lovely combination whilst the salmon dish has a Mediterranean flavour with its Romessco style sauce. The salmon dish is gluten free so that may sway your choice.

Peter’s Seafood & Grill has a number of offers on 5pm Dining including £11.95 for 2 courses – read more and book here.
