Tempus Grand Central are serving an ultimate Glasgow sundae complete with Irn Bru ice cream, broken up Wham Bar, Tunnocks caramel wafers and Arran tablet – and it comes with an exploding sparkler.
Their Glasgow sundae is a mammoth bowl of all the best Glasgow sweet treats you can think of. It is served with a light up sparkler that explodes with fireworks at your table.
When the sparkle dies down, you and your dining companion can grab your spoons and tuck into the sweet and gooey dessert. Bonus points if you reach the bottom!
New menu at Tempus Grand Central
The dessert is on the brand new menu at Tempus restaurant within Grand Central Hotel.
Tempus makes a priority of utilising the best seasonal Scottish produce in their dishes. Their foragers salad is made up at the table and includes fresh food the chef him or herself has collected from Farmers’ Markets during the week.
They also serve a starter of Hebridean salmon cured with The Botanist gin from Islay.
As ever, Tempus’s selection of steak is the focal point of their menu, and diners have the option of plumping for Aberdeen Angus sirloin and or Campbell’s gold rib-eye.
And vegetarians can opt for the rigatoni which is made in a sauce created with new season Scottish vine tomatoes.
