Alla Turca is a Turkish haven tucked behind a small frontage on Pitt Street in Glasgow city centre.

Behind its doors is a restaurant with warmth and vibrancy reminiscent of an Istanbul meze bar, with Turkish cushions, hookah pipes, and live music entertainment from a saz (a stringed Turkish instrument) player at the weekends.

The food on its menu is authentically Turkish with shish the showcase; lamb, chicken, lamb chop and swordfish shish are all on offer.

There are also lots of other Turkish dishes available such as hot and cold meze and desserts like Turkish Delight, Baklava, and Sütlaç (a Turkish oven baked rice pudding).

Just seconds from the King’s Theatre, it is an excellent option for dining pre or post theatre.

And their 5pm offers are amazing.

At lunchtime you can dine on two courses for just £7.95 – and you get a glass of Prosecco or tea or coffee with that too.

For £19.95 you can opt for two courses with a bottle of wine to share.
