Looking for Glasgow events with a food and drink twist? Look no further.

First up, we bring you news of the vegan pop-up market taking place in the Tron on Wednesday 21st February from 5pm to 9pm.

An array of Scotland’s finest vegan suppliers will be in attendance at the Trongate venue along with music from Fox Star records.

Names to look out for include In Bloom, Kind Crusts and Roots, Fruits and Flowers.

Since we can’t say no to a great pun, this blogger must make special mention of Soy Division – surely the best name ever for a vegan café and retailer?

Should all this shopping make you thirsty, both Thistly Cross Ciders and Glasgow Distillery will be on hand to prevent anyone suffering a drouth.

Glasgow events: Jerry’s Open House starts this week.

We also understand that Mark Mackenzie, the Exec Chef at Tron Bar and Kitchen will be creating a special vegan menu for the event.

Glasgow events: Jerry’s Open House Party

Moving over to Finnieston, the Sailor Jerry rum people are launching Jerry’s Open House in an old warehouse on Houldsworth Street.

A month-long pop-up which runs from 15th February to 15th March, Jerry’s Open House will put on live music, art, storytelling workshops and plenty of Sailor Jerry cocktails.

Things kick off on Thursday 15th February with a gig from Glasgow’s own Honeyblood.

On the 21st of February, Frank Carter of The Rattlesnakes and formerly of Gallows and Pure Love, will be in the (da?) house for two events.

During the day, there will be a An Audience With Frank followed by an acoustic gig in the evening.

From what we can make out, entry to each event is a fiver and that includes two Sailor Jerry drinks.
