Back in the capital for a second year, Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival will offer more than  300 beers from a range of hand-picked, global brewers.

Among others, there will be beer from the USA, Scandinavia and the UK. Brewing giants Beavertown and Mikkeller will rub shoulders with Stillwater and Dugges. Scottish represenatatives include Pilot, Tempest Brew Co, and Fierce Beer.

DJ sets include legends of the Scottish music scene, Mogwai, as well as DJ Don Letts of BBC 6 Music fame, Two Door Cinema Club and cult group Metronomy.

If the beer munchies set in, you can always graze on award-winning street food curated by the famed Pitt Street Market.

Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival: bigger and better

Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival Over 300 beers will be available as 100ml samples.

Such was the popularity of the event last year that event organisers, Greg Wells and Dan Sylvester increased the size of the festival.

The 40 plus brewers will descend on the Biscuit Factory from Friday to Sunday, showcasing their beers to an audience of more than 3,000 people. Ticket-holders will be able to try seasonal, exclusive and brand-new beers.

All the beers are available as 100ml samples which are included in the ticket price. As ever, guests are reminded to drink responsibly.

Speaking of the return to Edinburgh, co-founder and organiser Greg Wells said:

'It is a real thrill to come back to Edinburgh after last year’s success. We’re proud to be bringing back our unique combination of the best craft beer, brilliant music acts and locally-sourced street food, all under one roof. This year’s hand-picked line-up is not something you’ll want to miss.'

Tickets for Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival 2018 are priced from £35 for each session and include entry to the festival, souvenir glass and multiple tasters of beer.
