The Mariner Bar & Restaurant within the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Finnieston is an excellent pre hydro/SEC dining option - it is literally a stone's throw away from the two arenas. There's also seats outside by the Clyde which are perfect for sunny days and an extensive a la carte menu with dishes to suit everyone. We visited for lunch and as it was a gorgeous day were able to sit outside. Here's what we dined on.

I opted for the superfood salad with little gem, baby spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, feta cheese, sun-blush tomatoes, pomegranate pearls, edamame beans, mixed grains, and honey and mustard dressing topped with salad supreme. So much goodness and so delicious.

While my colleague went for the maybe less healthy but equally delicious rump steak and chips. Yum.

This baked vanilla cheesecake with berry compote and lemon was the pefect summery and citrusy dessert.

As was the special homemade snowball dessert - a tribute to Tunnocks.
