Dine Out Scotland is almost over but before it vanishes over the horizon on its trusty stallion, why not snatch up a last minute deal this weekend?

With a two or three course meal for £15.95 (and sometimes a drink thrown in too), you will be hard pushed to find a better offer in Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond right now.

We've made it easy for you by rounding up the restaurants that you can try until Monday 4th June...

Gourmet grub in Glasgow

If you fancy a meal in the city centre, then there are quite a few options. You can sample both traditional and modern Scottish fare at Cafe Source in the Merchant City, which is offering two courses on its pre-theatre menu plus a glass of wine. Or if you are in the mood for steak (among other options cooked from scratch), Mini Grill on Bath Street is also offering two pre-theatre dishes. Meanwhile, over in Princes Square, gin bar Juniper is offering two courses from its market menu plus a glass of wine (we're opting for the haggis bonbons in panko breadcrumbs followed by the Arran smoked cheddar mac and cheese). And at 29 — The Grill on the Square, you can tuck into two pre-theatre dishes plus a glass of wine while enjoying the view of buzzy Royal Exchange Square.

If the Southside is your patch, then The Fish People Cafe is tempting diners with two courses on both its lunch and early evening menu, plus a glass of wine. As you will have guessed by the name, this is a seafood hub and we reckon that the grilled sole fillets with thyme buttered peas sounds particularly lush.

Epicurean treats in Edinburgh

In New Town, you have a couple of great options. Sample two courses of Scottish cuisine plus a drink at stylish dining spot Angels Share or if you are craving fish, then feast on two dishes from the special 5pm menu at cosmopolitan Cadiz.

If you fancy gazing at spectacular Port of Leith vistas while you dine, then try out two classic brasserie-style dishes at Chez Mal in Malmaison hotel. We think the poached salmon hollandaise with buttered anya new potatoes, watercress and hollandaise sauce sounds particularly delicious.

Fizzy afternoon tea in West Lothian

If you'd prefer to escape to a more rural setting, then the AA Rosette Jeremy Wares restaurant at Macdonald Houstoun House hotel is offering afternoon tea plus a glass of Prosecco. You can tuck into a three tier assortment of traditional finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream & strawberry preserve and assorted fresh fine pastries & cakes.

As well as your glass of fizz, you will also have a choice of teas, tisanes and coffee. Afterwards, you can retrace the steps of Mary Queen of Scots and explore the 16th century property's twenty-two acres of beautiful woodlands. Why not make a whole day of it?

If a summer lunch, dinner or afternoon tea treat sounds good to you, then snap up one of these deals before they disappear. After all, you might as well indulge yourself while the weather is nice.
