Already well established in the West of Scotland, Scotts South Queensferry will be Buzzworks' eleventh venture and their first on the East Coast.

The company has long experience of operating in marinas. They already operate Scotts venues at Troon and Largs.

Situated against the stunning backdrop of the Three Bridges and Firth of Forth, Scotts at Port Edgar Marina opens to the public on Friday 28th September.

The views are fantastic - inside and out.

Visitors can expect a seafood display set into the main bar. Chefs will prepare dishes from the new oyster bar menu directly in front of guests.

Kenny Blair, Buzzworks Holdings managing director, said: 'It’s been a busy few months, but our new Scotts restaurant is rapidly taking shape. We pride ourselves in creating venues that provide delicious food, superb cocktails and outstanding service and Scotts South Queensferry will not disappoint.

'Launching our first venue in the East is a major milestone for us and a key step on our overall growth strategy. We look forward to making the final touches and opening our doors soon in the coming weeks.'

Available all day, the menus at Scotts range from traditional fish and chips to dry-aged steaks.

As you might expect from the seaside location, seafood is prominent.

The sample menus show seafood platters, smoked salmon platters and dishes like the spiced hake fillet.

There are langoustines landed at Troon, grilled lobster and whole lemon sole from the East Coast.

If you really want to push the boat out, you could tackle the £95 signature seafood platter. Tuck into a whole lobster, six langoustines, king scallops, garlic prawns and a trio of the day's local seafood in a chilli, garlic and coriander butter.

Meat dishes include beef lasagne, katsu chicken and a pan-seared loin of venison.

Steak fans can carve themselves a slice of Highland Wagyu or Aberdeen Angus rib-eye or fillet. There are also sharing steaks and a prime beef burger.

All of their beef is grass-fed beef and supplied by Campbells of Linlithgow.

In addition to their main menu, Scotts South Queensferry offers breakfasts and lunches, Sunday lunch and early evening deals.

Scotts at Port Edgar Marina will not be Buzzworks' last East Coast acquisition.

The firm recently announced that they had bought The Bridge Inn in Linlithgow. The venue will re-open in 2019 after a reported £750,000 refurbishment.
