The BBC Good Food Show Scotland is at the SEC in Glasgow this weekend.

Running from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st October, it is a must-visit for anyone who often finds themselves day-dreaming about their next meal.

And we have a rather enticing Big Deal for £10 tickets giving entry to the show on the Friday and Sunday.

As you might expect from one of the BBC's flagship events, the show has attracted some of the biggest names in the UK's cooking entertainment industry.

Wowing the crowds in The Big Kitchen are household names such as Tom Kerridge, Paul Hollywood, John Torode and Nadiya Hussain.

Nadiya Hussain will be busting some culinary moves.

Local chefs

Not that you need a telly show in order to produce great food. Drawing on the local talent pool, the organisers have fixed demos from chefs such as Ajmal Mushtaq of Mushtaq's in Hamilton; patissier Helen Vass; restaurateur Guy Cowan and Gary Maclean, a former winner of MasterChef The Professionals.

Naturally, the SEC will be bursting with many of Scotland's finest producers who will be eager to share their wares.

It's far too early to even be thinking about the C word - that's Christmas - but if you are then this is a great way get present ideas.

Local pop-ups

More thirsty visitors might want to book into a 45 minute session at The Spirits Lounge.

Here guests can try their hand at making whisky cocktails or learn how to create the perfect gin infusion.

Some of Glasgow's most popular restaurants will be running pop-ups at the Good Food Show Scotland.

Chez Mal will be in the house on Friday followed by Two Fat Ladies and Grill on the Corner on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Did we mention our Big Deal for £10 tickets?

We did? Good.
