After a soft opening earlier this month, the new venture joins the existing restaurants in the Arcari portfolio: La Vita Spuntini on Byres Road; La Vita on George Square; La Vita Pizzeria in Bishopbriggs and Piccolino e Vino in Newton Mearns.

The new Spuntini has created a seasonal menu that showcases a contemporary approach to authentic Italian flavours.
Dishes on the menu include duck served with black pudding in red wine jus; oven-roasted chicken wings tossed with sticky sweet sauce and jalapeño peppers; Italian Scotch eggs; pizza from the wood-burning oven and sharing bowls of different varieties of traditional pasta.
City centre location
Located in the centre of Glasgow's busy shopping district, the 125 cover restaurant is split over two floors and includes an impressive cocktail bar at the heart of the venue.
As well as a new cocktail and Italian wine lists, the restaurant also has a specialist gin and whisky menu all served from the sophisticated central bar.

The family acquired the site for £1.2 million and have spent a reported £800,000 on the refurbishment and fit out. Every penny of it shows in the interior decor.
Design-led interior
The new restaurant and bar is bathed in soft lighting with comfortable chairs, banquettes and booths. Chandeliers, an indoor cherry blossom and bespoke art from Andy Scott, the artist behind The Kelpies, all vie for attention.
