Tom Kitchin and his team have been busy of late.

It's only a couple of weeks ago that the Michelin-starred chef's Southside Scran venue opened in Edinburgh's Bruntsfield.

This week, his Bonnie Badger pub with rooms opened in Gullane.

We don't have full menu details but guests can expect the dishes served to follow Chef Kitchin's 'from nature to plate' ethos.

Previously The Golf Inn, the property has had a full refurbishment. Visitors can enjoy fourteen bedrooms, a bar, a 60-cover dining room called The Stables and, when the warmer weather returns, a beer garden.

Public House by Nico opens today

As we reported previously, Chef Nico Simeone's latest project is called Public House by Nico and, over the last few weeks, it has been taking shape in what used to be The Mallard on Great Western Road.

Public House by Nico opens to the public today and guests can tuck into an extensive selection of seasonal small plates, main courses, a Sunday roast plus breakfast and brunch options.

Typical choices on the small plates selection might be chestnut gnocchi with sprout tops, smoked pancetta and sage; Hispi cabbage with black garlic and mature Ossau-Iraty cheese or ox cheek pie with bone marrow.

The Grahamston has £1.2 m revamp

Staying in Glasgow, The Grahamston Bar in the city's Radisson Blu hotel by Central Station has had a £1.2 million makeover.

Named after the old suburb of the city which Central Station was built over, the new look Grahamston makes good use of Scottish produce.

What will it be? The twice-baked Isle of Mull cheddar soufflé; the cock-a-leekie terrine or the Scottish monkfish with celeriac, truffled pommes Anna, burnt cucumber and lemon butter sauce.

You can book The Grahamston via 5pm Dining.

Last but deffo not least, we have already written several times about Edinburgh's grandest and most recent chippie restaurant: Bertie's.

So we're not going to tell you about the menu all over again. Instead, you can tuck into these pics.
