There are two ways in which you can chip in. Happily, both involve you having fun and fabulous food.

Throughout autumn we’ll be donating 100% profits from selected dining offers to the charity. Essentially, you eat out and Action For Children benefits.

And we’ll also be selling tickets to Yes Chef!, a very special fundraising event at Platform in Argyle Street Arches.

Taking place on Thursday 14th November, Yes Chef! promises a fabulous evening of street food, live music and entertainment from comedian Gary Faulds.

Here are the details.

Dine Out for Action for Children

Between Monday 7th and Sunday 20th October, if you book selected offers at restaurants across Glasgow, 5pm will donate 100% of our profits from your booking to Action for Children’s Moving On project.

Come Monday, you will be able to browse the participating offers from here.

We'll tell you more about the Moving On project on Monday.

Yes Chef!

5pm is the only website selling tickets to a foodie event not to be missed: Yes Chef! at Platform at Argyle Street Arches.

Hosted by comedian Gary Faulds, the event will include delicious street food, amazing cocktails, live music and street performers within Glasgow’s most vibrant foodie destination.

The food will be cooked by people taking part in Action for Children’s Moving On project, which turns around the lives of young men who’ve been in Polmont Young Offenders institution.

These aspiring chefs will have undergone training in top catering facilities like Tennent’s Training Academy as well as restaurants like The Finnieston.

You can enjoy a fabulous night out and raise money for a very important cause by snapping up tickets to Yes Chef!
