The three day festival runs over five sessions from Thursday 31st October to Saturday 2nd November.

Taking place over three floors, the Craft Beer Experience will be showcasing brews from more than twenty breweries. Main pic is from Craft Beer Experience Facebook.

As well as street food and spirits from local distillers, the event will feature beer and food pairing classes plus meet the maker master classes.

Beer and cheese pairing

Obviously, we fancy the beer and cheese matching session with Siobhan Hewison, who is also known as the British Beer Girl.

The Foraging and Beer class from Hipsters and Hobos caught our eye too.

Of course, Scottish breweries will be prominent but there will also be beers from other parts of the world.

The main hall will host thirteen Scottish breweries including Pilot, Tempest, Barney's and the Acid Brewing Cartel.

The main hall will also provide a range of cocktails for those who are less keen on beer.

In the downstairs snug bar, Beer Without Borders will be showing a range of beers from across the EU.

We live in an uncertain world but this may be a good time to make the most of beers from our friends on the other side of the Channel.

One-off collaborations

Upstairs, in the Upper Theatre Room, Flavourly will be pouring some much sought after, one-off collaboration brews from Salt, The Wild Brewery Co, First Chop and  Fourpure Brewing Co.
