Want to have a brilliant night out and make a difference for disadvantaged young people in Scotland?

Of course you do. But let's check.

Do you like great food?

Do you like great cocktails?

Do you like great music?

If your answers are of course, sure and hell yeah!' then you will love the Yes Chef! fundraising event taking place at Platform on Argyle Street Arches on Thursday 14th November. Tickets.

Action for Children

Yes Chef! is an Action for Children fundraising event supported by 5pm.co.uk, Tennent’s Training Academy, Felons Gin and Platform at Argyle St Arches, to name a few.

On the evening, your food will be carefully crafted and cooked by the young men supported by Action for Children’s Moving On project.

On the night, you will see first-hand the journey some of the young men from the project have been on. For more info, please see the event page.

Live entertainment

Taking place from 6pm till 11.30pm, this colourful themed night will include a choice of arrival drink, selection of global street food and one Felons Gin cocktail crafted to complement the cuisine.

Comedian Gary Faulds, who has sold out the Armadillo for later this year, will host the evening. There will also be entertainment in the form of live music, magic and street performers.

Delicious sharing platters

Your arrival drink will be a choice of Felons Gin cocktail or bottle of Tennent’s.

Next up, you can tuck into globally influenced street food dishes served on sharing platters with three starters, three mains and one dessert. The menu looks a bit like this:

Korean-fried chicken bao bun
Spiced crab cake with mango salsa & coriander oil
Sliders – surf & turf po' boy, bacon cheeseburger, cauliflower falafel

Chicken makhani with basmati rice, pomegranate chutney and naan
Lemon sole & marinated salmon tacos
Crispy polenta & sweet potato hash with halloumi

Churros served with award-winning New Lanark ice cream

Vegetarian and vegan options will also be available.

Note that you will be seated at a mixed table, so why not get a group of friends or colleagues together to support a really good cause?
