Science, what has taken you so long?

Finally! Some scientists have finally gotten around to working on something important. Ice cream that doesn’t melt!

The good people at Cold Stone Creamery have conjured up some ice cream which, when frozen, is like….y’know…regular yummy ice cream. However, at room temperature, the real magic begins; it simply becomes a dense, and definitely not-melted, yummy pudding. Not gloopy liquid. Yummy pudding.

Kevin Pang of the Chicago Tribune gives us a full richly-detailed play-by-play over here.

It truly is the stuff of dreams.
