The bread at the Lego Last Supper was fairly tough

After Keith Floyd’s death earlier this week, it was revealed that his final meal included oysters, partridge, champagne and fine wine. He went out the way he would have wanted seems to be the consensus among most commentators.

The Times has taken the idea of last suppers and run with it in this entertaining piece. Since looking at my last pension statement, I’ve given up on the notion of a luxurious last meal and instead expect to be forking catfood out of the tin when I keel over.

This is an unsettling website listing the last meals ordered by American prisoners on Death Row. It makes for morbid reading but may encourage you to throw caution to the wind as you throw your lunchtime sarnie in the bin and head out for a slap-up lunch.
