For months now, there have been rumours flying around Edinburgh that the family behind the Khushi’s Indian restaurants were planning on opening a new restaurant in Leith.

The blog has confirmation that it’s all going ahead.

The new fine dining Indian restaurant is pencilled in to open on Dock Place in Leith at the beginning of December.

It will be called Mithas and it looks as though a lot of money is being spent on the fittings and fixtures.

On a surprisingly related note, it will be linked to a new South African bar which is due to open in Leith next week. Full details on Monday.
