At the weekend, the Sunday Herald’s restaurant critic Joanna Blythmann gave an enthusiastic review to the Pelican restaurant which opened late this summer on Argyle Street.

She summed up her review thus: ‘Nice place, good buying, good cooking and extremely reasonably priced – that’s a winner in my book.’
