Edinburgh is going in to a pre-Festival frenzy with new places opening all the time.

Circus is a light, bright new bistro on St Mary’s Street which is festooned (lovely word) with dozens of artworks on the walls.

Thewre is a light Greek theme to the menu with kleftiko lamb stew and moussaka rubbing shoulders with the Circus burger, grilled sea bass and steak with a pepper sauce and chips.
